Thought of the day

Glazing is very messy.

Update:
That might have been too general a statement.
I am making a huge mess glazing.  Especially since I am glazing larger pots.
I only have one to go but it is a monster.  Time to go outside and glaze with a kiddie pool to catch the mess.

I can totally relate. I am glazing now and huge puddles on the floor. I have my drill too fast, I miss the bucket dumping back in, etc. I recently bought one of those yellow squeeze mop buckets and a white stringy mop cause it gets so bad.

  2. Be sure to keep your foot out of the bucket. 😉

  3. ron,

the floor is messy but the feet are dry. thanks for the reminder.

    deborah,
i’m not sure if the big mop is going to be enough for the amount of glaze i’ve dropped. i might just let it dry up a bit and scrape it off the floor while i fire…i’m not sure how i was able to miss the bucket with that much glaze.
