I’m back in the studio today after a fantastic family trip to NY. The kids played with their cousins and the adults had a great time as well. We had a couple trips to NYC from my folks house which added to the fun. My wife and I checked out “Book of Mormon” which was as hilarious as it was irreverent. We all headed back into the city to see “The Nutcracker” on Saturday with the grandparents. The kids were loved the ballet (and the giant tree) but a quote in the Playbill from George Balanchine stuck out in my mind, “There are no new steps, only new combinations.” Just as easily applied to working in clay as in dance.
