Keith’s last series of work made in his Cape Cod studio focused on geometric patterns using a classic Celadon glaze over the decoration.
An experimental studio session with earthenware led to Keith’s current body of work with incised decorations under a clear glaze.
Woodfired and Soda-fired Stoneware
From 2000-2007 Keith was highly focused on atmospheric firings. His patterns and linear decorations were made with brushwork and slips. The nature of atmospheric firings and the flame within the kiln was an integral part of this body of work.
