All set up at the show!
I love the setup of these plates.
I have added a little bit of finish to my pots. Since a lot of my work is bought as gifts (sometimes for oneself) I decided to get some boxes and print up a sticker with my new logo on it.
So, get a gift for yourself or someone else deserving and enjoy unpacking your newest beautiful things.
Everything from cheese to wine to bread is labeled “Artisanal” now. And, a lot of folks go to great efforts to find the best they can find for their kitchen table.
My question to you is…how do you serve those farmer’s market organic greens that you just picked up? Are they sitting in a mass-produced bowl that was made in large factory?
I can help you fix that problem. If you’re in Houston this weekend, stop by the Bayou City Art Festival and pick out a new bowl for yourself!
I’ve grown up with Apple and we’ve had an Apple Computer in the house since day one…IIGS, IIC, Macintosh Classic, SE, Plus…the list goes on. I’m sure you’ve seen this clip before, but it’s worth another look. Oh…..and remember Lode Runner?
4 out of 5 Thanksgiving guests agree…The turkey is better if the gravy is served in this new gravy boat.
Brighten up your next cocktail party with these delicious plates. Passed Hors D’oeurves…you’re guests will be happier snacking off one of these gems. Need a hostess gift? Done.
Elegantly packaged and sold as groups of 4…get yours at Bayou City this weekend.
Not in Houston…not a problem. I can ship them to you or you can swing by my studio which is open by appointment until the East Austin Studio Tour.
I’m filling up fast for my holiday orders so get in touch now. Let’s email or talk.

I’m really happy with the pots that I’ve been unloading from my recent kilns. All of the work you’re seeing is coming with me to Houston for the Bayou City Arts Festival next weekend. After that, it’s a busy few weeks here in Austin getting ready for the East Austin Studio Tour and the Armadillo Bazaar. Then I’ve got a show at the Michelson Museum in Marshall, TX with my fellow Art of the Pot hosts. I have some really good ideas for that show. More on that soon.
I also pulled these teapots out of the kiln this morning…
And…if you haven’t noticed yet…I’m totally addicted to Instagram now.
This cup just came out of the kiln and is just screaming for a double macchiato. If you pick one of these up I highly suggest you bring it over to Houndstooth Coffee here in Austin.

Take Heart's Invitation
There’s a not to be missed Opening Party today at the new Take Heart Shop here in Austin, TX. Nina Gordon, the owner of this beautiful shop, has been open for business since late August but is now ready to throw the grand party this great little shop deserves. The Austin American-Statesmen wrote a nice little article about the shop here. I have some work in the store alongside my friend and Art of the Pot co-host, Ryan McKerley.
The party is from 4pm-8pm tonight. Stop by and take a look for yourself and grab some complimentary wine and snacks from Take Heart’s neighbor, Blue Dahlia Bistro.

Some bottles over at Take Heart Shop.
See you there!
I’m back in the studio catching up with 3 bisque-kilns worth of work gently suggesting that it’s time for them to be shiny and finished. Glad to be home and happy to report that our 10th anniversary trip was as nice as we had planned. But, now it’s time to cruise on through a few glaze firings and then it’s off to Houston for the Bayou CIty Arts Festival.
