Lamp Prototypes

The most emailed question I’ve gotten since the Apartment Therapy post yesterday is, “Where are the Lamp Pendants that I saw in those photos on AT?”

The answer: They’re still in my studio because those are the prototypes of my new home design line and the East Austin Studio Tour was the soft launch of the Lamps.

I’m taking custom orders now and they’re running at about 6-8 weeks for delivery. Interested in some lighting for your home? Get in touch and I’ll get back to you with the details!

The full line of Lamp Pendants goes into production in early 2012. More info on the lamps is coming soon…and much nicer photos as well!

One of my favorite things about my new line is that people spend time grabbing pots from different parts of the collection and start making their own set. I designed the work with the intent that the pots can make do by themselves or create their own little still-life as a grouping. I love when people figure this out in the studio.

Take an Essential Cup in the Crosscut Pattern and combine it with a Cocktail Plate in the Linea Pattern and you’ve got yourself a Cup and Saucer that looks like it was always meant to be.

So…take some time, look around the Store and grab a little from here and a little from there. Rest assured…those pots will work together when you get them home!

Flying & Shipping out the Door…

The East Austin Studio Tour 2011 is a wrap and it was the most successful one yet for me. Lots of work found new homes, lots of new friends were made and lots of general awesomeness happened.

A great deal of new work headed out the door in my beautiful gift boxes to start the Holiday Season off nicely.

Yes, We’re Open!

Well, that was the most successful E.A.S.T. weekend I’ve had yet and we’re only halfway done! The Studio Tour continues next weekend 11/19 & 11/20 from 11am-6pm.

One of the most asked questions this weekend was, “Is your studio always open…Can I come back after E.A.S.T. to buy more gifts?”. Short answer, YES!

Long answer, if you’re looking for a place to buy my work in Austin this holiday season you have a few choices. First of all, I am always open by appointment in my studio. I’m typically here designing and making work weekdays between 9am-5pm but if there’s another time that works better for you…shoot me an email or give me a call! I’m happy to open the doors and help you find a perfect gift for your friends and family this holiday season. Secondly, you can swing by the Take Heart Shop on East 11th where Nina Gordon has a collection of my work in her great new shop. Thirdly, I’ll be showing at the Armadillo Bazaar in December with my Art of the Pot partners.

And most importantly…as I’m sure you now know, you can shop online and find the perfect gift in my new Webstore.

East Austin Studio Tour: 2011

So far so good at E.A.S.T. 2011.

Here’s a quick peek of what the studio looked like right after I finished setting up this morning. Some of you who follow Kreeger Pottery on Facebook have already seen the quick photo I took of my newest product line, the Pendant Lamp. You can see them in the photos below. I’ll be giving you all more details on these soon. The basics: I’m super-excited about launching these new Pendants. These are the prototypes and I’ll be putting some of them into “production” mode at the end of this month. They’re all handmade and they’re stunning. I am taking custom orders for them now but they’ll be up in the new Webstore soon. I’d love to hear what you think!

It’s been a great day so far and we’re getting ready here for the Cobra Show & Party to kick off in about an hour.
